Job summary

Chick-fil-A New Albany is seeking a Back of House Team Member to star t early shifts and support the 6:30am opening. You will prepare, cook, assemble, and ensure food safety while learning kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment, ensuring Chick-fil-A standards are met every day.

Responsibilities

• Prompt arrival at 5:30am daily to set up the kitchen
• Prepare, cook, assemble, and handle food safely and quickly
• Know assignments for all kitchen stations
• Set up each kitchen area including raw chicken areas
• Practice safe food handling and prevent cross-contamination
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep kitchen neat, clean, and orderly
• Stay up-to-date with new Chick-fil-A products
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• Complete opening tasks and adhere to dress code

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prompt arrival at 5:30am daily to ensure that the kitchen is set up on time for our 6:30am opening time.
• Prepare, cook, assemble, and practice food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Setting up each area of the kitchen (including raw chicken areas)
• Know and understand safe food handling and the risks of cross-contamination
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Operate, clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including but not limited to pressurized and open fryers
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
