Job summary

Associa is seeking a part-time Concierge at a gorgeous active living community in Reno, Nevada. You will greet homeowners and guests, direct visitors, and assist with event reservations and HOA payments, providing courteous service daily.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, with strong communication and time-management skills, comfortable using Microsoft Office, and able to multitask in a fast-paced clubhouse environment. Approximately 32 hours/week, with weekend shifts.

We are currently looking for a part-time Concierge team member who is dedicated to a gorgeous active living community who shares our vision, values and commitment to superior customer service.

Position Summary

Concierge team members are responsible for greeting and assisting homeowners and guests with helpfulness and courtesy. Directing visitors to the proper department or individual, announcing visitors to staff by providing prudent information (name, address, nature of visit, appointment/walk-in), monitoring conference rooms, coordinating courier bag pick up, and issuing and monitoring key fobs when assigned to guests, and more.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Clubhouse for open hours; unlocking facility amenities, prepare coffee and tea station.
  • Welcome homeowners and their guests to the Clubhouse; answer questions; register visitors and issue visitor tags as required; accept phone calls, event reservations, payments for HOA assessments and event fees.
  • Accept and issue receipts as requested for homeowner payments.
  • Ensure the conference rooms are neat and tidy at all times (assist with clean up as necessary).
  • Accept package delivery and advise recipient when delivered packages are received at the reception area.
  • Perform various administrative/managerial tasks in support of facility's mission.
  • Follows and enforces all community safety and security policies, programs, procedures and rules, and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
  • High school diploma High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • 0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience.

Schedule:

Approximately 32 hours per week. Shift is Tuesday 6:30am- 2:30pm, Thursday 6:30am- 2:30pm, Saturday 6:30am- 2:30pm and Sunday 6:30am to 1:00pm. This vacancy also requires flexibility to cover staff absences and events as needed.

  • Non-Typical office environment (frequent standing, walking, talking, etc.), both inside activities and outside activities.
