Just Love Coffee & Cafe – Rincon is seeking a warm, dependable Barista / Shift Lead to help set the tone for a successful day. Shifts include weekday openings from 5:30 a.m.

to 1:00 p.m., with every-other-Sunday availability and weekend flexibility. Preferred candidates have espresso experience or strong food-service skills, prior shift-lead or opening responsibilities, and the ability to stay friendly and organized under pressure.

Responsibilities

Opening Barista / Shift Lead

Just Love Coffee & Cafe – Rincon is looking for a warm, dependable, and experienced team member who can help set the tone for a successful day.

Required Availability

• Available for weekday opening shifts from 5:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m – days of the week are flexible.
• Available to work at least every other Sunday – which can alternate with Saturdays for a weekend day off.

We Strongly Prefer Candidates With

• Barista experience using a traditional espresso machine
• OR very strong food-service experience who is a quick learner and willing and able to learn barista skills
• Previous shift-lead or opening responsibilities
• The ability to stay friendly, focused, and organized under pressure
• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
• A dependable, team-oriented approach

Our business can shift quickly. A shift that is normally quiet may become unexpectedly busy, so you must be able to change gears, prioritize tasks, manage multiple orders, and maintain quality and warm hospitality throughout a rush.

This is a hands‑on team role—not a position for someone who only wants to work behind the espresso machine. Everyone pitches in wherever needed, whether that means washing dishes, completing prep work, running food, restocking, cleaning, or supporting another station. Every task matters, and no job is beneath any member of our team.

Additional responsibilities include preparing our full beverage menu, following recipes and food‑safety procedures, maintaining a clean and well‑stocked workspace, and helping the team remain organized and on task.

The right person is genuinely warm and friendly, takes pride in doing things correctly, communicates well, stays calm under pressure, and can be trusted to help lead a shift.

Pay: $10–$12 per hour plus tips, based on experience.
