Job summary

Gate Hospitality Group seeks a Sandpiper Café Barista to join the opening team at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club. You will craft handcrafted beverages and menu items, delivering warm, personalized service to members and guests in a fast-paced luxury resort environment.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of barista or hospitality experience, knowledge of espresso equipment, and a passion for exceptional service. This full‑time role offers competitive pay and benefit options at a premier coastal resort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years experience as barista, café attendant, or hospitality professional preferred.
• Experience preparing specialty coffee beverages and operating espresso equipment preferred.
• Luxury hospitality, private club, or resort experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality beverages and café offerings for opening Sandpiper Café.
• Welcome members and guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Prepare and serve handcrafted coffee beverages, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and other menu items.
• Follow established recipes, portioning guidelines, and presentation standards.
• Safely operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment.
• Provide recommendations about menu offerings, ingredients, allergens, and daily specials.
• Accurately process member charges, cash, credit cards, and other payments using the POS system.
• Keep beverage stations, displays, counters, and service areas clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready.
• Attend pre-shift meetings, training sessions, and safety courses.
• Support fellow F&B team members as needed.
• Complete additional duties and special projects assigned by management.
