BAE Systems is seeking a Mid-level Librarian (Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst) to support our government customer at Reston, VA, and Patrick Space Force Base, FL. This Analyst will work in a classified environment, conducting all-source analytic production on sources and products of information available from public, private, and US and Foreign Governments' open-source materials. The role involves collection and exploitation of Publicly Available Information (PAI) using OSINT tools.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Independently employ tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for PAI collection to mitigate operational risks, and interpret and adhere to laws and policies governing the collection and use of PAI.
  • Identify sources of PAI of potential intelligence value, including resources available for purchase, to fulfill intelligence requirements.
  • Develop OSINT collection plans to meet specific intelligence needs.
  • Evaluate and vet sources of PAI information.
  • Identify collection gaps and methods, coordinating within the IC as necessary.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related intelligence field with 8+ years of experience in an intelligence-related role, including OSINT experience within the last 2 years, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience using Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) OSINT tools such as SILO, SCRAAWL, Data Miner, Babel, and others.
  • Proven experience in OSINT research, collection management, analysis, or exploitation of PAI or social media.
  • Knowledge of IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
  • Prior military or government analytical experience.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Graduates of Government OSINT training courses (e.g., U.S. Army OBC, OS301/OS302, CASO, DIA BOTC, FBI OS101).
  • Experience providing intelligence analytical support for the IC/DoD.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $75,570 - $128,480

Please note: Salaries are influenced by various factors including market conditions, internal equity, and individual qualifications.
