The Teaching Assistant, Associate, or Full professor is a non-tenure track faculty appointment in the Department of Industrial Engineering in the Engineering Management Graduate Program.
The job duties for this position include teaching graduate and undergraduate prerequisite courses through online, live, and hybrid modalities. Responsibilities involve designing courses, providing curriculum materials, constructing syllabi, leading classes, administering exams, advising students, serving on faculty committees, participating in comprehensive examination panels, and engaging in professional societies. Instruction may occur remotely, at satellite campuses, or at the Fayetteville Campus. The position may also include teaching executive education or workforce development courses.
This role requires teaching online courses and working remotely in accordance with the University of Arkansas Policy on Flexible Work Arrangements, including Remote Work. For details, see Fayetteville Policy and Procedures 412.3. The successful candidate will be eligible for remote work per this policy.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is essential, as is the ability to foster collegial and harmonious relationships with colleagues.
