Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work and at least 2 years of post-master’s-degree social work practice experience is required for the rank of Lecturer.
• A PhD, MSW, or equivalent terminal degree appropriate to the field, and at least 2 years of post-master’s-degree social work practice experience, is required for the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor.
• Alternative credentials may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BSW practicum, arrange practicum placements for undergraduate students, and maintain practicum agency relationships.
• Lead practicum seminars and serve on the practicum leadership team.
• Teach in the School’s BSW and MSW programs; typical load is 4 courses per semester but reduced for practicum coordination responsibilities.
