Qualifications

• Doctorate in educational leadership or educational administration from a regionally-accredited U.S. university
• 3 years of K-12 teaching experience
• 3 years of experience as a public-school administrator
• Experience teaching online in higher education
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Commitment to high quality instruction
• Dedication to high standards and student success
• Record of or potential for scholarship
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
• Ability to multitask and work collegially as part of a team
• Licensing/Professional Certifications: principal certification

Responsibilities

• Teach master’s and doctoral level courses in educational leadership
• Design, conduct, and publish research to include publications in peer-reviewed journals
• Advise students
• Prepare syllabi
• Update course materials
• Develop curriculum
• Deliver instruction both online and face-to-face at any of the university’s sites
• Instructional duties may include teaching during the day, the evening, or Saturday
• Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to implement departmental programs
• Provide service to the department, college, university, public schools, and the community
• Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of current trends in learning via research, best practices, and technological applications in the classroom that include online instruction
• Chair dissertations to completion
