Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or closely related field, including at least 18 graduate credits in Criminal Justice.
• Five (5) years of industry experience in related field.
• Active Texas peace officer license.
• Leadership experience within a Texas criminal justice or public safety agency.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, supervise, and/or develop others.

Responsibilities

• Teach as instructor of record for discipline-specific courses as assigned; online delivery.
• Lead curriculum design, assessment, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with faculty, instructional designers, and industry partners to align with workforce needs.
• Represent the College through professional meetings, outreach, and recruitment activities.
• Maintain active engagement in the discipline and contribute to curricular updates and workforce relevance.
