Job summary

Seattle University invites applications for multiple open rank, 9-month tenure-track nursing faculty positions to begin August 1, 2027. Positions span Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor and emphasize teaching, scholarly activity, service, and community engagement.

Candidates should have a doctorate in nursing and evidence of ongoing scholarly work, with licensure requirements described for RN/ARNP in Washington.

Qualifications

Doctorate in Nursing or related field from an accredited program with anticipated completion by August 1, 2027.
Evidence of a beginning or sustained program of research with peer-reviewed publications.
RN licensure in Washington State for Nurse Applicants; ARNP licensure required by start date.

Responsibilities

Teach in both pre-licensure and post-licensure nursing programs across in-person and virtual classrooms.
Instruct in clinical practice and simulation settings across nursing specialty areas.
Engage in scholarly activity, service, and institution-building in line with the college's mission.
