Job summary
Seattle University invites applications to fill multiple 9-month term faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate or Full Clinical or Teaching Track ranks to begin August 1, 2027. The Nursing program offers BSN and DNP degrees with specialties in Family Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care-Adult Gerontology, Psychiatric-Mental Health, Midwifery, and Women’s Health.
Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to social justice and inclusive teaching, with opportunities to teach in-person and virtual
Qualifications
- Clinical Track requires a research, practice or education doctorate by August 1, 2027.
- Teaching Track requires a master’s degree in Nursing or a closely related field.
- Minimum two years of clinical experience with RN licensure in Washington; ARNP licensure for advanced practice at start date.
- Record of scholarly achievement and teaching excellence.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and inclusive leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Teach in pre-licensure and post-licensure nursing programs in-person and online.
- Engage in clinical practice and simulation settings across nursing specialty areas.
- Pursue scholarly activity and contribute to program development and service.
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster social justice and inclusive education.
