Job Summary:
The Operations Management area in the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas is inviting applications for one full-time, non-tenure track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Instruction or Practice position to help in the development and maintenance of its Management Science, Operations, and Supply Chain Management programs. The hired candidate will be required to teach undergraduate and/or graduate classes in Operations/Supply Chain Management and Analytics. A Masters in Operations Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required while a PhD is preferred. Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience: A master’s degree in a relevant discipline is required prior to employment with at least five years’ experience of teaching and/or in industry. Candidates are expected to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, engaging, and dynamic environment comprised of individuals with a range of backgrounds, skills, and perspectives.
Preferred Education and Experience: A PhD or equivalent in Operations Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. Applicants for an Associate or Full Professor position must have a PhD and a depth of experience commensurate with the rank.
