Job Summary

Position Description

The Accounting Area in the Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas invites applications for multiple non-tenure track faculty positions in Accounting at the level of Assistant Professor of Practice. Associate and Full Professor of Practice appointments will also be considered, based on qualifications and experience.

Faculty members are responsible for developing and updating curriculum, teaching multiple courses in taxation, as well as participating in various service activities for the Accounting Area or the Naveen Jindal School of Management.

One appointment commences for the fall 2025 semester and the other appointment commences June 1, 2026.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience: Qualified candidates should hold a master’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, as well as an active CPA License. Additionally, qualified candidates will have at least 7 years of experience in the accounting profession, with preference given to those candidates with significant professional experience in taxation.

Candidates are expected to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, engaging, and dynamic environment comprised of individuals with a range of backgrounds, skills, and perspectives.

We are seeking candidates able to deliver high quality teaching using evidence-based practices to effectively engage students from a range of backgrounds and experiences.

Preferred Education and Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience.

Teach eight (8) classes each academic year
