Position Summary

The College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Georgia, invites applications for clinical track (non‑tenure track), tenure track, or tenured faculty positions in small animal internal medicine at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor. The major responsibilities for this position are to teach and provide service in small animal internal medicine in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, teach didactic and laboratory courses related to internal medicine topics to veterinary students, actively participate in the training of residents and interns, and develop a research program, which can be independent and/or collaborative with other faculty members.

Minimum Qualifications

All candidates must have a DVM or equivalent degree.

Additional Requirements

All candidates must have completed an approved residency of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine or the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, and have board certification or be eligible for board certification. For the tenure‑track or tenured faculty ranks, documented research productivity commensurate with rank and interest in developing a research program is required.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification

State of Georgia Veterinary License or Veterinary Faculty License.
