Candidates should demonstrate a record of, or strong potential for, scholarly achievement, a clear vision for future research, a commitment to engineering education, and strong communication skills. For appointments at the Associate or Full Professor level, particular emphasis will be placed on the strength of the candidate's research program and their potential to provide leadership and mentorship within a rapidly growing department. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field by the time of appointment.
