Job Overview

Tenure‑track faculty position in Decision, Operations, and Information Technologies at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park. The faculty member will develop research on AI and its applications in business and policy, engage in teaching undergraduate, MBA, MS, and Ph.D. students, and participate in departmental, school, and university service.

Qualifications

  • Publishable record: leading journals, AI outlets, working papers; a research statement demonstrating a cohesive program with a clear trajectory.
  • Proven teaching ability, including curriculum design and delivery for undergraduate, MBA, MS, and Ph.D. courses.
  • Assistant or associate professor experience preferred, though not required.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct impactful and inspirational research in AI and its business and policy applications.
  • Deliver high‑quality instruction to undergraduate, MBA, MS, and Ph.D. students.
  • Participate in service activities for the department, school, and university.
