USA Rare Earth, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our open-pit mining operations in Sierra Blanca, Texas. The role oversees daily excavation, haulage, and face preparation, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining safety and MSHA compliance.

You will coordinate with contractors and the HSE team, drive cost control, and report progress from pre-shift through handovers. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in open-pit mining, experience supervising crews, and strong reporting skills

Formación

• Minimum 5 years in open-pit mining or large-scale earthmoving operations.
• Experience supervising personnel and contractors.
• MSHA certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting and tracking.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor contractor performance against production targets and KPIs.
• Supervise site personnel and contractors in excavation, haulage, and face prep.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate priorities and hazards.
• Track daily production vs. mine plan and report deviations.
• Control OpEx per tonne and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineering on field changes and geotechnical conditions.
• Ensure MSHA compliance and audit-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with HSE to maintain a safe work environment.
• Document incidents, inspections, and production progress.
