Job summary

Elementis PLC is seeking an Off-Highway Haul Truck Operator for a mining site in California. You will operate haul trucks and other equipment to support production, while maintaining safety records and daily task logs.

The role requires 2-3 years of equipment experience, a valid California driver’s license, and the ability to work overtime. ATF clearance and safety compliance are mandatory in this environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience operating various equipment, including haul trucks, water trucks, loaders, dozers, forklifts, a screen plant.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license.
• ATF clearance and ability to work around explosives.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment as needed to meet production demands.
• Keep records of daily tasks and work permits.
• Understand right-of-way rules.
• Perform pre-shift walk around of equipment.
• Report near misses and incidents to supervisor and HSE manager.
