Job summary

Elementis Global in California is seeking an Off-Highway Haul Truck Operator. Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment, maintaining safety standards, and performing basic maintenance tasks while supporting a safe, productive mine site environment.

Requirements include 2–3 years of equipment operation experience, a valid California driver’s license, and the ability to work overtime. Cross-training on additional equipment is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience operating various equipment and haul trucks.
• Must have valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment as needed to meet production demands.
• Keep records of daily tasks and work permits.
• Understand right-of-way traffic and perform pre-shift equipment checks.
• Maintain safety culture and promptly report near misses and incidents to supervisor and HSE manager.
• Cross-train on alternative equipment as needed.
