Job summary

LG Display America seeks an Open Innovation and Business Development Professional to identify emerging technologies and trends, and translate insights into actionable business opportunities. You will collaborate with senior leadership to explore partnerships and new ventures.

The role emphasizes teamwork with engineering and R&D to prepare briefing materials, proposals, and executive-facing reports in a fast-paced environment in Cupertino.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in technology R&D or tech research; business development exposure is a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering) preferred.
• English/Korean bilingual ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze display technologies and adjacent industry developments; summarize findings for internal stakeholders.
• Identify potential business opportunities and technology partnerships; assist in outreach to partners.
• Screen opportunities by researching markets, benchmarking competitors, and risk assessment under senior guidance.
• Prepare materials for opportunity reviews and collaboration proposals.
