Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center – HCA is seeking an Open Heart CST to support surgical services by preparing patients and performing scrub duties in the OR.

You will assist in emergency and elective cases, ensure supplies are ready, and coordinate patient transport while upholding hospital policies.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• CST Certification (Certified Surgical Technologist).
• Vocational School Graduate or an Associate Degree required.
• CVOR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient.
• Perform scrub duties and related procedures.
• Assist in maintenance of supplies.
• Assist in emergency, elective and scheduled cases.
• Assist in preparation, transportation and supervision of patients.
