Job summary

Steelbach in Tampa, a Three Oaks Hospitality concept, seeks a Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. You’ll grill aged beef over oak and mesquite, braise and prepare diverse dishes, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Applicants should have experience with grilling, strong teamwork, and a passion for hospitality. Nights, weekends, and holidays are required, with competitive pay plus tips.

Qualifications

• Experience with grilling steaks and premium proteins.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines and standards.
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Commitment to consistency, cleanliness, and teamwork.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Braise and grill meat and vegetables with a high degree of skill.
• Assist in maintaining inventory by labeling, tracking, and replacing key ingredients.
• Prepare meat and vegetables by slicing, cutting, shredding, and tenderizing as needed.
• Communicate with head chef and wait staff to ensure timely delivery of meals.
• Comply with health regulations and safety standards; maintain a clean, sanitary workstation.
• Communicate with restaurant manager about kitchen supplies and upgrades.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff.
• Follow executive or sous chef’s instructions and report as needed.
• Clean up station and manage leftovers.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
