JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Penn State University Libraries Library Learning Services Department is accepting applications for an Open Educational Practices Assistant. The successful applicant will have the exciting opportunity to be part of transforming education at Penn State.
The assistant will collaborate with the Library Learning Services Department and Penn State faculty across disciplines on a program to develop open educational resources (OER) that better reflect student diversity, including marginalized voices and experiences traditionally absent from disciplinary discourses and commercially produced textbooks. Responsibilities include assisting faculty with course materials creation, such as developing, adapting, or revising content and presenting it using open publishing tools.

CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS:
Penn State publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASR) in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Act and Pennsylvania law. The ASR includes crime statistics and policies related to campus security, alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, reporting, sexual assault, and other matters.
