Qualifications

• Experience leading open banking or FinTech API integrations.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional engineering teams in Agile delivery.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2, API gateways, and data security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of UI and API services for Open Banking integrations.
• Drive strategy and execution across cross-functional engineering teams.
• Interface with development and infrastructure to ensure end-to-end resiliency and capacity management.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Backlog Refinement, Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to prioritize and define stories in JIRA and maintain healthy product and sprint backlogs.
• Provide transparent delivery plans and progress updates to stakeholders.
• Measure and improve team delivery, maturity, and performance using agreed metrics.
• Oversee vendor and FinTech API integrations leveraging industry standards.

We are seeking an Open Banking Channel Feature Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in API platforms, OAuth 2, and Agile delivery and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver stable, scalable user interface and API services that enable secure, permissioned data sharing with third-party FinTech partners.

Role Logistics

Start Month: November

Interview: One in-person round, 1 hour

Hybrid: Minimum 3 days onsite per week

Vendor submission policy: 1 submit per HM, may resubmit 1 additional candidate if rejected or withdrawn

Position Summary

The Open Banking Channel Feature Lead will guide a development team delivering user interfaces and API-based services that enable customer-permissioned data exchange with third-party products and services. The channel owns vendor and FinTech API integrations, inbound and outbound, to support comprehensive client views across Consumer, Wealth, Private, and Retirement lines of business. The platform serves millions of customers and demands stability, resiliency, and scalability while complying with industry standards for secure data sharing.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of UI and API services for Open Banking integrations
• Drive strategy and execution across cross-functional engineering teams
• Interface with development and infrastructure to ensure end-to-end resiliency and capacity management
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Backlog Refinement, Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives
• Collaborate with Product Owner to prioritize and define stories in JIRA and maintain healthy product and sprint backlogs
• Provide transparent delivery plans and progress updates to stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strategic thinker with demonstrated execution in complex delivery environments
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Technical SME in APIs, OAuth 2 authorization framework, API gateways, monitoring, and capacity management
• Proficiency facilitating Scrum events and Agile delivery practices
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Understanding of data exchange principles and financial data standards such as OFX, DDA Durable Data API, and/or FDX

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with RESTful design patterns and OAuth 2 implementations
• Background in Open Banking or FinTech integrations
