Job summary

BCforward is seeking an Open Banking Channel Feature Lead to guide a development team delivering UI and API services for customer-permissioned data exchange with third-party FinTech partners in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on building stable, scalable interfaces and secure integrations across Consumer, Wealth, Private, and Retirement lines of business.

The ideal candidate will bring strong API and OAuth 2 expertise and a proven ability to drive cross-functional teams in an Agile environment,

Qualifications

• Experience leading open banking or FinTech API integrations.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional engineering teams in Agile delivery.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2, API gateways, and data security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of UI and API services for Open Banking integrations.
• Drive strategy and execution across cross-functional engineering teams.
• Interface with development and infrastructure to ensure end-to-end resiliency and capacity management.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Backlog Refinement, Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to prioritize and define stories in JIRA and maintain healthy product and sprint backlogs.
• Provide transparent delivery plans and progress updates to stakeholders.
• Measure and improve team delivery, maturity, and performance using agreed metrics.
• Oversee vendor and FinTech API integrations leveraging industry standards.
