Job summary

State Street is seeking a Platform Services – Open Architecture Product Strategy Managing Director to lead product strategy across front, middle, and back office. The role focuses on engaging with clients, shaping a scalable platform, and integrating with third-party tools within a fast-paced growth environment.

The successful candidate will bring extensive asset management operations experience, strategic mindset, and proven leadership across geographies to drive the firm’s product capabilities

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes.
• 15+ years operational and/or technical experience across front, middle, back office systems; Private Markets a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Commercialization of products and services (price, value proposition, sales support).
• Think outside the box to produce end-to-end solutions (Front, Middle, Back).
• Drive penetration into all segments of the bank (Asset Managers, Insurance, Asset Owners, Alts, Markets).
• Articulate the vision, design the solution, and assist as needed to implement it (bring to life).
• Write and present business cases with ROI analysis.
• Understand macro growth drivers in financial markets and apply to strategy and recommendations.
• Assess competitive landscape and identify differentiation opportunities when technology is common.
• Partner with broader product organization as well as delivery and client coverage teams.
