Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia is seeking an Adoptions Coordinator to lead day-to-day adoption activities and deliver outstanding service to adopters. You will coordinate adoptions across Lifesaving, Animal Care, Medical, and Development to ensure animals are well matched and records are accurate.

The role supports open adoptions, manages online listings, and promotes events like Adventure Tails while coordinating with foster and volunteer teams. 20 hours/week, $16-18/hr.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED; some college or additional education preferred.
• Experience in animal welfare, shelters, or rescues required.
• Proficient with computers; Gmail, Google Drive, Shelterluv, and Office Suite knowledge a plus.
• Knowledge of domestic animals, breeds, behavior, and health symptoms.

• Manage adopter experience from application to post-adoption follow-up.
• Provide counseling on animal behavior, medical needs, and home integration.
• Deliver prompt, professional, and compassionate service to all adopters including post-adoption support.
• Maintain values-based care and ensure accurate adoption records and data entry.
• Promote adoptable animals online with engaging bios and photos/videos; coordinate events.
