Volunteers of America, Dakotas seeks a Mental Health Therapist to deliver individual, group, and family psychotherapy as part of expanded same-day outpatient services. You will conduct diagnostic assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based care across the lifespan.

The role requires a master's degree and licensure-eligible status, with a rotating schedule that includes walk-ins and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, timely access to care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
• Experience with diagnostic assessments and individualized treatment planning.
• Licensure-eligible or licensed in SD with an active plan for supervised hours toward licensure.
• Experience using EHR documentation and coordinating care in behavioral health.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Deliver services on a rotating same-day/open-access schedule to support walk-in care.
• Conduct crisis intervention and safety planning and coordinate with crisis partners.
• Develop and update individualized service plans with clients and families.
• Collaborate with Case Managers, Substance Use Counselors, and Medical Director for integrated care.
