VOA Dakotas is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to deliver individual, group, and family psychotherapy within our outpatient programs. You will participate in a rotating schedule to ensure same-day access and walk-in care while collaborating with Case Managers, Substance Use Counselors, and the Medical Director to coordinate integrated treatment.

The role requires a master’s degree in a relevant field, experience with diagnostic assessments and treatment planning, and licensure or eligibility

Competenze

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
• Experience with diagnostic assessments and treatment planning.
• Active South Dakota licensure (LPC-MH, LCSW, LMFT or license-eligible) with supervised hours plan.
• Bilingual or experience serving rural or tribal populations.
• Experience in a CCBHC, FQHC, or integrated behavioral health setting.

Mansioni

• Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Support same-day/open-access walk-in services and timely access to care.
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning, coordinating with crisis partners as needed.
• Coordinate with Case Managers, Substance Use Counselors, and other team members for integrated care.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in the EHR and ensure compliance.
