Salary Range: $76,960.00 - $86,320.00

Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions
  • Provides supervision and leadership to clinical staff, interns, and all direct reports within open access.
  • Facilitates individual supervision, group supervision, and team meetings.
  • Participates in the operation of the program within the context of the budget, including production expectations for all staff.
  • Maintains a client caseload with a production expectation based on ratio of supervisees and other job responsibilities.
  • Participates in the recruitment and selection of staff and maintenance of staffing schedule.
  • Participates in planning and development of clinic services and establishment of policies and procedures within a managed care framework.
  • Ensures staff understand and follow procedures within the open access model.
  • Approves timecards and authorizes time‑off requests in the payroll system.
  • Performs all essential functions of the Care Navigator role as needed.
  • Assists and supports all functions of the Open Access model as appropriate.
  • Facilitates wellness and recovery of the whole person, including outreach and engagement, and after‑care planning.
  • Works with and collaborates with other agency systems to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the clinic.
  • Coordinates program services, meetings, and marketing as needed.
  • Participates within the multi‑disciplinary team as needed.
  • Member of the CQI committee; participates in CQI activities including program development, program evaluation, and outcomes studies.
  • Provides direct clinical services to individuals, families, and groups using evidence‑based therapy approaches while maintaining production and record‑keeping requirements.
  • Represents the agency’s interests in the community and builds and maintains professional relationships and connections with community resources and partners.
  • Is responsible for the onboarding and ongoing training and development of staff.
  • Provides training and oversees, monitors Relias utilization for staff.
  • Completes annual performance evaluations for all assigned staff and manages personnel issues.
  • Completes continued education to maintain clinical professional licensure and ensures licensure remains active.

Travel Required

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation that meets CFS Driver Policy. Occasional travel is required to provide services in different settings and to attend agency meetings, events, and trainings.

Qualifications – Required Education and Experience
  • Completed Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or another clinically licensure‑eligible degree program.
  • Independent licensure with LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts and at least three years of full‑time (or equivalent part‑time) post‑licensure experience in a mental health setting.
  • At least two years of experience working with children or families.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated cultural humility and an understanding of ethnic, cultural, and/or linguistic considerations for populations served.

  • Knowledge of the various dimensions of diversity, including gender, race, and ethnicity.
  • Acknowledgment that people from other cultural groups may not share the same beliefs and practices or perceive experiences in the same way.
  • Cultural knowledge of key populations that will be served to address disparities in service delivery.
  • Demonstrates positive attitudes toward cultural differences by showing respect and openness toward people whose social and cultural background is different from one’s own.
  • Demonstrates skills for communication and interaction across cultures, including the ability to recognize and manage personal behaviors, moods, and impulses to create an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming climate within the agency.
