The Obama Foundation is seeking a Senior Associate, OPC Venue Management to coordinate and drive seamless venue operations for the Obama Presidential Center. You will act as the onsite Venue Manager from planning through execution for complex events, partnering with internal teams and external hosts to ensure flawless experiences.

Formación

• 4+ years in event operations, hospitality, hotel conference services, or venue operations.
• Regular evenings and weekends required based on event schedules.
• Experience supporting onsite event execution or guest services in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in real time.
• This role is onsite at the Obama Presidential Center.
• Frequent mobility across the Center’s campus, indoors and outdoors.
• Experience with event or venue management systems (Infor) and project management systems (Asana) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and vet event intake and scheduling, ensuring alignment with OPC guidelines.
• Coordinate with OPC Facilities, Security, and Visitor Experience to operationalize event requirements.
• Serve as Venue Manager during events, overseeing load-in to close and coordinating with hosts on program aspects.
• Oversee onsite vendor activity to ensure compliance with approved plans and OPC standards.
• Deliver hospitality that reflects OPC values and ensures a welcoming guest experience.
