Samsung Semiconductor in San Jose, CA is seeking an experienced OPC Modeling Engineer to join our OPC lab. You will own modeling products, drive new features from idea to release, and collaborate with HQ engineers to translate requirements into robust solutions.

The role requires a PhD/ MS/ BS in engineering or physics and 5+ years of OPC modeling experience, with strong Python, Unix/Linux, debugging, and lithography knowledge. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or Ph.D. in Electrical/Chemical/Optical/Computer Engineering or Physics/Applied Math.
• 5+ years of OPC Modeling experience after BS/MS or 3+ years after Ph.D.
• Strong background in Python, Unix/Linux, and debugging.
• Experience in optical proximity correction, computational lithography, or lithography.
• Semiconductor process experience.

Responsibilities

• Own Samsung OPC modeling products with product engineers.
• Conduct new product development with clear feature goals.
• Collaborate with HQ PEs to understand requirements and handle requests.
• Provide technical specification and PRD for new features.
• Conduct acceptance testing and provide best practice documentation.
• Provide user guidance and manuals for new features.
