Job summary

Samsung Semiconductor in San Jose, CA is seeking a Senior Engineer, OPC (Optical Proximity Correction) Modeling Product Engineer to lead modeling product development and qualification. You will own product specifications and collaborate with R&D to deliver high-impact features.

The role requires 5+ years in OPC modeling (BS/MS/PhD in EE/CE/Physics or Applied Math), strong Python, Unix/Linux, debugging and machine learning skills, plus experience in lithography or semiconductor processes.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or Ph.D. in Electrical/Chemical/Optical/Computer Engineering or Physics/Applied Math.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new product development by providing R&D with a clear feature goals of the product features.
• Interact with HQ PEs(product engineers) to understand technical requirements and effectively handle requests through new R&D development or in-house technical support.
• Provide technical Specification, PRD(product description) for new development features to R&D
• Conduct acceptance testing and provide best practice of the new product features.
• Provide user guidance and manual for new product features
