Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Executive Director-Ontologist to shape firm-wide knowledge representation and data interoperability. You will lead ontology and taxonomy efforts across domains, enabling AI applications and data sharing.

Work with domain experts, product owners, and engineers to define requirements, evaluate standards, and mentor a team of ontologists while staying ahead of semantic technologies and governance practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building ontologies for real-world use cases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and adopt ontologies to represent complex domains.
• Evaluate industry standard ontologies for adoption across JPMorgan Chase.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand use cases and define requirements.
• Provide expert input into firm-wide data strategy and governance.
