Job summary

Tiger Analytics is seeking an Ontology Architect to lead applied engineering and analytics initiatives. You will design ontologies, build scalable knowledge graphs, and maintain a semantic layer that presents a unified view of data across the enterprise.

You will partner with data teams to map data products to the ontology, implement inference rules, and establish governance standards ensuring consistent graph schemas across business units.

Qualifications

• Expert-level mastery of core semantic technologies.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating production-grade graph databases/ triple stores.
• Proficiency with ontology engineering and taxonomy management tools.
• Understanding of Data Mesh paradigms and semantic layers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation, modeling, and evolution of enterprise ontologies, taxonomies, and controlled vocabularies.
• Design and implement scalable Knowledge Graph architectures, ingestion pipelines, and governance.
• Build and maintain enterprise semantic layer to provide a unified machine-readable business view of data.
• Map, link, and augment Data Products using central ontology for interoperability.
• Implement semantic reasoning and inference to generate metadata and insights.
• Establish governance, standards, and data contracts for semantic models across units.
