You will implement ontology objects, manage versioning, ensure data lineage and quality, and collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into robust models.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Modeling, or Data Stewardship.
• 2+ years of Palantir Foundry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/DS/Engineering or related field.
• Experience supporting ontology-driven operational applications.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, or automotive domains preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Palantir Foundry ontology objects.
• Define semantic data models reflecting business processes and operational workflows.
• Establish ontology governance standards and best practices.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and traceability of ontology objects.
• Monitor ontology health, lineage, and data quality metrics.
• Manage ontology versioning and change control processes.
• Partner with business users to translate requirements into ontology models.
• Facilitate workshops to define entities, relationships, and business rules.
• Support adoption of ontology-driven applications across business units.
• Configure Foundry Ontology Manager and related Foundry applications.
• Manage access controls, permissions, and stewardship workflows.
• Support deployment and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create ontology documentation, standards, and user guides.
• Train business users and technical teams on ontology concepts and usage.
• Maintain alignment between metadata and the business glossary.
