Job summary

Career Team is seeking a Work Experience (WEX) Coordinator to manage the WEX process and related projects, collaborating with Career Advisors, employers, and participants to place individuals into meaningful work experiences under the supervision of the Employer Services Manager.

The role requires eligibility determinations, accurate data capture in the state system, and ongoing program improvement based on participant feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience coordinating programs in workforce development settings is required.
• Knowledge of the WIOA program and work experience (WEX) requirements is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key liaison among stakeholders to align goals and strategies.
• Cultivate partnerships with educational institutions, businesses, and community host sites.
• Become a subject matter expert on labor market and career trends.
• Complete eligibility determinations for WEX participants and accurately capture data in state systems.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators related to work experience placements.
