Job summary

Amphibious Medics is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to support a Construction Workforce PREP program on a large-scale project. The AT will serve as the onsite wellness lead, collaborating with project leadership and safety teams to boost workforce health and performance.

Responsibilities include biometric screenings, ergonomic coaching, injury-prevention initiatives, Stretch & Flex programming, and Recovery Center operations. Travel to client locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in athletic training, industrial or construction wellness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or related field.
• BOC certification or equivalent credential.
• Active state licensure or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
• Ability to work safely in an active construction environment.
• Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wellness assessments and biometric screenings (BP, glucose, BMI, hydration).
• Perform ergonomic observations and coaching on body mechanics.
• Develop site-specific wellness initiatives focusing on injury prevention, mobility, recovery, nutrition, hydration, and engagement.
• Lead and support daily Stretch & Flex programming.
• Operate and promote the onsite Recovery Center with consultations and mobility education.
• Provide recovery-focused massage services within the scope of practice.
• Coordinate wellness challenges, events, and workforce engagement activities.
• Maintain documentation, metrics, observations, and monthly reports.
• Foster a culture of trust, safety and wellbeing, communicating with workers and leadership.
