Job summary

Amphibious Medics is seeking a bilingual Certified Athletic Trainer to lead a comprehensive wellness program on a large-scale construction project in East Point, GA. You will serve as the onsite wellness lead, coordinating with project leadership, safety teams, and workers to boost health, mobility, and performance.

The role requires 2+ years of athletic training experience, a BoC certification, and active licensure or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of athletic training or related injury-prevention experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Occupational Health, or related field.
• Board Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC) or equivalent credential.
• Active state licensure or able to obtain licensure within 30 days.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication required, including coaching and education.
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work safely in an active construction environment and comply with site safety.
• Excellent written and verbal reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct voluntary wellness assessments and biometric screenings.
• Perform field-based ergonomic observations and provide body mechanic coaching.
• Develop site-specific wellness initiatives for injury prevention and mobility.
• Lead and support daily Stretch & Flex programming.
• Operate and promote the onsite Recovery Center and wellness activities.
• Provide recovery-focused massage services within scope.
• Coordinate wellness challenges, health events, and workforce engagement.
• Maintain documentation, metrics, and monthly dashboards.
• Communicate with workers, supervisors, safety teams, and client leadership.
