Amphibious Medics in Hutto, TX is seeking an On-Site Certified Athletic Trainer to support our clients at construction sites and media productions nationwide, providing on-site coverage, wellness programs, and preventive services.

You will perform exams, deliver first aid, evaluate injuries, and develop site-specific wellness initiatives while collaborating with safety teams. Travel to client locations is required; bilingual Spanish welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Board-certified athletic trainer.
• State licensure or certification required.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Willingness to travel to client locations.

Responsabilités

• Perform wellness examinations, including blood pressure and blood glucose testing.
• Provide first-aid treatment and case management for musculoskeletal complaints.
• Provide orthopedic injury evaluations.
• Develop and implement site-specific wellness programs and initiatives.
• Conduct exhaustive ergonomic job risk analyses, including task analysis and risk factor identification.
• Create ergonomics interventions utilizing innovative solutions and employee empowerment.
• Communicate regularly with safety personnel regarding rehabilitation and injury prevention activities.
• Author articles for company newsletters and intranets as needed.
• The on-site athletic trainer will not provide rehabilitation services but will participate in education and prevention programs.
• Act as an employee advocate for non-work-related injuries.
