Motorola Solutions is seeking an Onsite WAVE VoIP Engineer to join the US Federal Governments Markets Division and support the WAVE System across presales and post-sale activities. The role requires sitting onsite in Washington, DC, with a focus on troubleshooting, maintenance, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 3 years of technical experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary public trust clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for WAVE technical issues; onsite in Washington, D.C.
• Oversee maintenance issues and coordinate issue resolution and escalations.
• Provide system support, maintenance, and updates of the WAVE System.
• Monitor system performance and coordinate upgrades with customers' management.
• Coordinate with contractors and other organizations to ensure policy compliance.
• Regularly test backups and ensure agreed support levels are met.
