Job summary
Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) is seeking a highly skilled civil engineer to join our site design team. The role focuses on water and wastewater projects for public and private clients, requiring strong collaboration with project managers and designers to deliver practical, sustainable solutions.
This onsite position in Knoxville, TN, requires a BS in Civil Engineering, PE licensure, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson or MicroStation, GIS,
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering.
- PE licensure with state permits or reciprocity.
- 5+ years of experience in civil/environmental design.
- Proficiency with HAESTAD or similar modeling software.
Responsibilities
- Assist in design and analysis of water/wastewater facilities and distribution systems.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies for necessary approvals.
- Support public clients in identifying funding opportunities and applications.
- Collaborate with site development, survey, and inspection staff on turnkey projects.
- Perform field investigations, data collection, and site inspections.
- Mentor new staff to grow the utility design team.
- Proficiency in water distribution and wastewater collection systems; understand topographic surveys.
