Job summary

Envita Solutions is seeking an Onsite Team Lead to ensure safe, efficient operation of the onsite by‑product management system at the facility. You will supervise shift staff, support the Shift Supervisor, and coordinate sorting and processing of waste streams and recycling activities in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires knowledge of EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and proficiency with Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
• Must be able to meet all physical requirements of position (standing, bending over, squatting, etc.).
• Computer program knowledge in Microsoft Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies and working safely at all times.
• Train other employees for all processes included in by‑product management of waste streams and recycling capacities.
• Must possess knowledge of sorting and processing operations, operating powered industrial equipment and large mechanical equipment.
• Provide coverage of the Shift Supervisor in their absence (sickness, vacation, meetings).
• Perform sorting and processing of wastes and by‑products in a fast paced facility safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Operate motorized trucks and fork lifts and other equipment to move materials within processing areas.
• Conduct cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.
• Participate in spill response duties as assigned and comply with EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations.
