Job summary

Envita Solutions seeks an Onsite Team Lead to ensure safe, efficient by-product management at the facility. Lead shift, train staff, and coordinate waste processing and recycling activities while adhering to EPA, DOT, and OSHA requirements.

You will operate processing equipment, perform sorting, and maintain daily client relations with safety as a priority. Prior supervisory experience is preferred for this hands-on role in our industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and basic EPA/DOT/OSHA knowledge.
• Experience supervising teams and handling shift coverage preferred.
• Ability to operate required equipment safely and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise onsite by-product management and waste processing activities.
• Train and support shift employees; cover supervisor in their absence.
• Sort and process wastes and by-products safely in a manufacturing setting.
• Operate forklifts, balers, and other processing equipment per guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping and spill response tasks; adhere to regulations.

We believe in creating enduring value, building long-term relationships and mutual trust, betting on our people, keeping our eyes open for opportunity, tackling the big problems, and doing the right thing-always.The Onsite Team Lead is responsible to ensure safe and efficient operation of onsite by-product management system/set-up at the facility; assist with the development and implementation of solutions with processes and logistics for onsite waste and recycling processes; maintain effective and professional daily interaction with client associates and their daily service requests; other projects as designated by Program Manager to ensure close client relationships (including management).Essential FunctionsEnsures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.Training of other employees for all of the processes included in the by-product management of the customer waste streams and recycling capacities.Must possess the knowledge of all of the basic functions of sorting and processing, to operating powered industrial equipment and large mechanical equipment.Requires direct supervision of shift employees.Provide support to the Shift Supervisor including paper and computer work, supervision, and training.Responsible for providing coverage of the Shift Supervisor in the event of their absence (sickness, vacation, meetings).Perform the sorting and processing of all wastes and by-products in a fast paced manufacturing facility environment safely, and in accordance with Company, Federal, State and local regulations/rules.Utilize motorized trucks and fork trucks with attachments and other handling equipment to process and move material from the processing area to trailers and roll offs, and other containers within the processing area.Safely operate equipment to process materials including hand tools, balers, and compactors.Properly sort materials based on pre-established guidelines for additional processing.Perform cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.Participate and train others in spill response duties as assigned by customer contract.Utilize knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations, as well as the companies’ policies and regulations.Envita Solutions believes that each employee makes a significant contribution to our success.
