Job summary

Carhartt in Hanson, KY is seeking a Trainer to train and certify new and transferring warehouse associates, ensure ongoing recertification on required equipment and processes, and maintain accurate training records.

You will conduct annual training, deliver train-the-trainer sessions, coordinate with the Safety Manager, and provide coaching to improve performance while upholding Carhartt's core values of dependability, honesty, and trust.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Business or a related field preferred.
• Experience in training, quality, warehouse, or manufacturing environments is required.

Responsibilities

• Train new hires and transferring warehouse associates on powered industrial equipment and processes.
• Assess associate performance with training checklists and PWMs; certify when requirements are met.
• Maintain training records, reports, and required documentation.
• Identify training gaps and report findings to the Distribution Network Operations Manager.
• Provide ongoing coaching, retraining, and development support.
• Instruct on safety procedures, quality standards, and operational expectations.
• Serve as a welcoming point of contact for new hires and explain policies.
• Manage training materials, supplies, inventory, distribution and ordering.
• Maintain trainer certifications and coordinate annual equipment recertifications with Safety Manager.
