Job summary

Oil-Dri Corporation of America is seeking a Plant Supervisor for Blue Mountain operations in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. This role oversees warehouse and shipping staff, enforces safety and quality standards, and ensures inventory accuracy.

The position requires 3+ years in distribution/packaging and 1+ year supervisory experience, with a preference for a logistics/operations degree. Monday–Friday onsite schedule with family-friendly benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience with an ERP Manufacturing system.
High school diploma or equivalent.
College degree in a logistics/operations-related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years experience in a distribution or packaging environment.
Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.
Experience in bulk material handling and packaging processes preferred.
Experience with counting inventory and maintaining accurate inventory documents preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise the scheduling of Warehouse and Shipping teammates to maintain productivity.
Ensure safety and housekeeping policies are followed and MSHA standards are met.
Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
Perform performance evaluations and administrative duties of plant staff.
Promote compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure quality standards and reduce waste or rework.
Verify inventory availability and prepare work orders and requisitions.
Maintain accurate daily inventory records and conduct monthly cycle counts.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
