Job summary

ZEISS Group in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations and drive Lean improvements on the production floor. The role oversees receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control, coordinating with multiple internal teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in operations management or related field (or 7+ years equivalent) and at least 3 years in a supervisory role with SAP ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, supply chain, business or related field, OR equivalent experience of 7+ years.
• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• MUST have a minimum of 3 years of SAP ERP warehouse-specific experience.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, time management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, returns, put-away, and staging.
• Ensure optimal warehouse layout and space utilization for new and existing parts.
• Oversee cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate discrepancies in SAP.
• Monitor KPIs like order accuracy, on-time shipments, and inventory accuracy.
• Lead Lean initiatives to improve waste reduction and efficiency.
