Job summary

Hachette Book Group US Distribution in Lebanon, IN is seeking a Computer Operations Analyst to provide technical support and administration for the infrastructure, systems, and applications that support our operations. You will work with internal teams to maintain reliability, troubleshoot hardware and software, and support warehouse technology solutions.

Qualifications

Linux in a production environment
Experience with virtualization/hypervisor platforms in production
Windows Server environments experience
Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
Experience with RF systems, enterprise backups, or warehouse automation is a plus
Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Support and administer Linux Red Hat server environments and virtualization platforms.
Support Windows operating systems in desktop and server environments.
Assist in RF production floor systems administration and support.
Support warehouse automation technologies including WMS, conveyors and pick-to-light systems.
Provide hardware and software support to end users and operations teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues across systems and infrastructure.
Assist with Active Directory administration and user support.
Perform OS patch management for Linux and VMware; assist Windows patching.
Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and security.
Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and configurations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors and business partners.
