Job summary

LER TechForce is seeking a Vehicle Software & Systems Validation Engineer to validate software, embedded systems, and infotainment features across vehicles, benches, and labs in a fully onsite, Agile setting.

The role emphasizes planning and executing manual and automated tests, defect analysis, and collaboration with feature engineers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high-quality automotive software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 3–5 years automotive software testing experience.
• Experience with functional testing, defect management, and root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency with Python or similar scripting languages.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Familiarity with JIRA and test execution.

Responsibilities

• Validate vehicle software, embedded systems, and infotainment features across vehicles, benches, and lab environments.
• Plan, execute, and document manual and automated tests in an Agile framework.
• Analyze test results and log defects with root-cause analysis for timely fixes.
• Coordinate with feature engineers to reproduce defects and verify fixes.
• Provide detailed feedback and bug reports to ensure high-quality software and efficient testing workflows.
• Maintain test benches, vehicles, and tools for ongoing testing readiness.
