Job summary

Bodwe Professional Services, LLC is seeking a skilled facilities technician to operate and maintain building systems across multiple sites in Bemidji, MN, with travel to Red Lake and Cass Lake. The role focuses on boilers, HVAC, water systems, and control technologies to ensure reliable operations.

You will work independently under supervision, maintain logs, and support hospital facilities with precision and safety. This is a 1-year full-time assignment with 100% onsite work.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of piping systems and related equipment.
• Ability to work from blueprints and sketches to layout and install piping systems and equipment.
• Knowledge of and skills of applying OSHA, NFPA, CMS regulations for operation of building systems.
• Knowledge of and skills to work with building automation systems and other digital devices.
• Knowledge to apply computer generated system reports to vendor drawings.
• Knowledge to investigate, troubleshoot, and correct non-normal conditions from reports.
• Knowledge of calibration and operation of thermostats, humidistats, VAV boxes, and control devices.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boiler plants, hot water heaters, pumps, chillers, and fire alarm systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance per PM schedule; complete logs and work orders.
• Monitor equipment using computerized control systems and Johnson Controls platforms.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures; order parts and perform repairs when possible.
• Install and repair piping and related equipment per blueprints and codes.
• Maintain safety practices and OSHA regulations while modifying piping systems.
